  • Led efforts to test a new installation method for the heads up display system in the 777X under vibration conditions

737 Tooling

  • Designed plastic molds to create protective foam covers for underbelly antenna to prevent head strike injuries

Ergonomics Technology and Safety

  • Design a quick release connector to attach tools to an Equipois ZeroG tool balancing system for use on jobs which pose a high ergonomic risk to the worker in the factory
  • Designed a tool lift to support torque wrenches in order to reduce the risk of injury to the upper body
  • Improved a software Python program to control a Baxter Research Robot by adding Xbox Kinect visualization capabilities
  • Collected data on the feasibility of using humans to remotely control robots to perform jobs in dangerous environments
